Just three. At least they were a good three. I would recommend them all.

WICKED GAME (WVMP Radio Series #1) by Jeri Ready-Smith, UF, TPB – This was a fun start to the series.

DOWNPOUR (Graywalker Series #6) by Kat Richardson, UF, HB – I’m still up in the error as to which of the 6 books is my favorite, but this one is a contender. Great location and characters.

BLOODSHOT(Cheshire Red Reports Series #1) UF, BOCD & TPB – Seriously all kinds of awesomeness.

There should have been a fourth book on the list but I’ve had a hard time staying awake and reading or just sitting down to read. My book time suffers.
Imzadi Dragonflyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17996290675069805016noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7170883549995257678.post-5963157255117145462011-08-29T01:00:00.000-07:002011-08-29T01:00:10.740-07:00Finders Keepers: The end of August editionHere is what made it into the house the last couple of weeks. It was just as yummy as BLACK DUST MAMBO. Maybe even a little yummier. More players are revealed and more questions come up just when you get answers or hints of answers to the questions already asked. I’m looking forward to next year’s release of the third book. I really need to start reading Adrian Phoenix’s Maker’s Song Series.

This morning I started reading HONEYED WORDS (Sarah Beauhall Series #2) by J.A. Pitts. So far it’s pure awesomeness. John Pitts will be at Powell’s Wednesday night at 7:00 for a book signing. I’m hoping to have as much of this book completed as possible. Since I’m a slow reader and have falling asleep when trying to read in the evening lately, I make no promise to finishing it by then. Though, I am hopeful.
Imzadi Dragonflyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17996290675069805016noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7170883549995257678.post-33391642502317641462011-07-03T10:01:00.000-07:002011-07-03T10:05:32.454-07:00My June ReadsTHE NATIVE STAR (Native Star #1) by M.K. I'm not complaining. I'm a slow reader so I'm thrilled to get in as many stories as I can.

MAGIC IN THE SHADOWS (MPB) by Devon Monk

WHERE ANGELS FEAR TO TREAD (TPB) by Thomas E. Sniegoskie

BONESHAKER (TPB) by Cherie Priest

All are wonderful books. BONESHAKER is my first foray into steampunk and I look forward to more steampunk adventures. Not to mention more books by Priest. I believe FATHOM needs to make it's way to the top of the TBR pile a little quicker than it has this past year. In the mean time I'll be reading some Ilona Andrews and Lili St. Crow/Lilith Saintcrow as they will be at Powell's in May for a reading. I would like to have at least one book from each by them by then.Imzadi Dragonflyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17996290675069805016noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7170883549995257678.post-64651523070207727522010-03-21T10:17:00.000-07:002010-03-21T10:31:33.674-07:00Book and Original Art Bookmark Giveaway at Daydreams and Wanderings

Head on over to Daydreams and Wanderings to win a copy of VERACITY and a bookmark with Amanda's original artwork. Now Harper is a Greywalker, treading the thin line between the living world and the paranormal realm. And she's discovering that her new abilities are landing her all sorts of "strange" cases.

For Seattle investigator Harper Blaine, her own case may prove the most difficult to solve. Why did she—as opposed to others with near-death experiences—become a Greywalker? When Harper begins digging into her own past, she unearths some unpleasant truths about her father's early death as well as a mysterious puzzle. She sets out to find his ghost but encounters only a void where he should be, leaving her with more unanswered questions.

Before she can continue her search, Harper gets an offer she can't refuse to go to London and pursue an investigation on behalf of some very demanding vampires. But there are unpleasant surprises waiting for her, and Harper soon discovers her present trouble in England is entangled with her dark past back in Seattle—and her ultimate destiny as a Greywalker.

I loved VANISHED. I think it may be my favorite in the series. Many questions about Harper’s past are answered here. There are many more questions waiting to be answered in the next book.
