Finders Keepers
I stopped at Barnes & Noble last week looking for a book that as it turns out hadn’t been released yet. While there I ran into one of my book signing cohorts.
NINE LIVES LAST FOREVER (A CATS AND CURIOS MYSTERY #2) by Rebecca M. Hale.
FIRST GRAVE ON THE RIGHT by Darynda Jones
I picked this one up because my book signing cohort said it was good and encouraged me to get it.
THE GRIMM LEGACY by Polly Shulman
I picked this up at Powell’s the week before when I went to J.A. Pitts book signing.

Ummm… #2 never made it home. Guess you know what will be on my finds list for next week.

What I'm Reading and What I've Read
Friday, I finished BLACK HEART LOA (Hoodoo Series #2) by Adrian Phoenix. It was just as yummy as BLACK DUST MAMBO. Maybe even a little yummier. More players are revealed and more questions come up just when you get answers or hints of answers to the questions already asked. I’m looking forward to next year’s release of the third book. I really need to start reading Adrian Phoenix’s Maker’s Song Series.
This morning I started reading HONEYED WORDS (Sarah Beauhall Series #2) by J.A. Pitts. So far it’s pure awesomeness. John Pitts will be at Powell’s Wednesday night at 7:00 for a book signing. I’m hoping to have as much of this book completed as possible. Since I’m a slow reader and have falling asleep when trying to read in the evening lately, I make no promise to finishing it by then. Though, I am hopeful.

My June Reads
THE NATIVE STAR (Native Star #1) by M.K. Hobson – An enjoyable adventure.
DIVERGENT by Veronica Roth – Most excellent. I highly recommend this book. It’s been a couple weeks since I finished the story and I still find myself thinking about the characters and what will happen next.
BLACK DUST MAMBO (Hoodoo Series #1) by Adrian Phoenix – Excellent. I finished this book the day #2 was release. I went to B&N to pick it up and started it that evening. Plus Adrian Phoenix will be at Powell’s July 6th so I wanted to have it read before the signing.
