I loved VANISHED. I think it may be my favorite in the series. Many questions about Harper’s past are answered here. There are many more questions waiting to be answered in the next book. As I read the last words in Vanished I found I I’m already looking forward to book #5.

I've had OWLFLIGHT sitting on my bookshelf since 1998 or 1999. I even found the bookmark for the store I bought from. This bookstore stopped handing out free bookmarks YEARS ago.

Anyway, I've been catching up on the happening in Valdemar and the Vales and enjoying every moment.

X-Men Origines: Wolverine

It appears I neglected to share that I saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine Monday afternoon. Silly girl. I enjoyed the story. The cast was fantastic. I think this is the first time I've seen Will.i.Am on the big screen and I'm fairly certain Liev Schreiber can do no wrong. Well Sabretooth can. Liev however, can not. As for Hugh Jackman. As usual he's great and of course Wolverine always has a little piece of my heart. If I were still a teenager prone to putting posters of heartthrob actors/characters on my wall a still of Wolverine running from the lab, in the buff, would definitely be the poster to hang.

I plan seeing it again in that comfy stadium seating and picking up the DVD the day it's released.

If all goes according to plan I'll be seeing Star Trek with my aunt and the mother of my ST convention partner in crime. I just wish my convention buddy still lived in the area.

Remy Chandler is Back!

I'm so excited. I went to Barnes & Noble yesterday to request they reserve a a copy of Thomas Sniegoski's Dancing on the Head of a Pin. It's scheduled release date is April 7th but B&N already had it on the shelf. I grabbed a copy and made my way home with it. Okay, I stopped at the cash register first and paid for it. Then I ran home and coveted my new find.

I've really enjoyed this series. The characters are enjoyable to get to know. I must admit I'd love to get to know some of the teachers at the school a bit more. However, I do recognize this is a YA series so I get why that might not happen. Since there at least two more books in the series I look forward to seeing what happens.

Mean Streats - Jim Butcher, Simon R. Green, Kat Richardson and Thomas E. Sniegoski, TPB

So far I've only read the novellas by Richardson and Sniegoslki. Both stories are fandamntastic. Butcher and Green will be my April reads. I know I won't be disappointed.
